Lucy's In The Square

Amazing little place. The menu items from tacos, flatbreads and burgers are unique, clever and amazingly delicious. Every item I have tried has exceeded my expectations as has the level of service. Every time I walk in its big smiles, genuine friendliness. As a business owner myself it's hard not to notice and appreciate what somebody has created in this little jewel of a restaurant.

First time last week and the server was amazing. I had a Greek salad and soup. My husband had steak and bleu flatbread. It was a nice lunch.

We got very lucky and tried this spot on taco Tuesday! Quality food. A small menu with plenty of variety - including vegetarian options.

This is the perfect place to grab lunch. Our waitress was so sweet and the food was delicious. The big grilled cheese with roasted red peppers was delicious.

We LOVED this place! Such a cute area! Great food, our server Lindsey was ADORABLE AND SO GOOD! We had flatbreads the yardbird salad (FIRE. SO. GOOD. NOT BIG ENOUGH. Will DEF be back.

My dog and I stopped in for lunch after visiting the Bayview Dog Beach. Little did I know the place is named after a dog!? So they were very doggo friendly. When we arrived I needed to visit the restroom and a staff member held my boy's leash and gave him cold water while he waited for my return. Our server Kinsey was outstanding!!! She was so friendly, personable, dog lover, and was super attentive. I ordered the Yard Bird Nachos. They were so amazing! I tossed them back with a Strawberry Shortcake Beer. Omg, please try this place with your doggo. Great music playing, chill vibe. Love the old house thing w/cool dog pics in restroom! Sorry I didn't photo my nachos!

So I was just introduced to Lucy’s In The Square this week. I have a friend who is a regular there and she took me there so I could try them out. Now one thing that is cool about Lucy’s is that it’s off the path of what seems to be the main downtown streets in Pensacola. We were there during Gallery Night and it was a little bit away from the busyness of that scene. Lucy’s has seating outside but we chose to sit inside. We were able to easily find a seat and we were greeted by the staff. I believe the person who waited on us was named Alex. She quickly brought out 2 waters. That was very much appreciated because it was hot outside and I had begun to sweat. Alex got our drink orders and very soon our food orders. I ordered tacos because my friend recommended them or the flatbreads. I had the Steak Blue, Cali Chicken, and the Shrimp tacos. I will say all the tacos were excellent. If I had to rank them I would say Steak then Chicken and then Shrimp. To be honest I probably ranked Steak the highest because I sate that one first. And in another case of honesty, the only reason I ranked Cali chicken over the Shrimp was because of the sauce on the Cali chicken taco. It was really good. I would definitely like to try more items here. I love the food and atmosphere here.

Lauren was our super server on this girls Tuesday lunch. Sat outside and enjoyed a margarita along with queso/chips next enjoyed shrimp tacos and steak/blue taco. Everything was excellent. Been back soon
